Welcome! When I was a little kid in Upstate New York, I used to draw all over everything. I'd doodle on the newspaper margins, fill coloring books and drawing pads, even drew on the wall once, much to the consternation of my mother. When the pens in the kitchen flower pot container went missing, they always turned up in my room... for SOME reason.
When I got older and was working as a technical writer, I took my 'hobby' a small leap beyond coloring books and newspaper-grade paper and into calligraphy and watercolor and acrylic painting. While painting commissioned pieces for some generously enthusiastic coworkers, I thought, "Hey, I could get used to this!"
In addition, over the last several years I've been developing my skills with the art of Celtic knotwork, which makes my brain twitch if I think too much while I'm working on all the intricate weaves - just kidding! Seriously though, there's something almost meditational about creating Celtic knotwork and spiral art.
I'm also quite the photography afficionado. When I need a break from the art table and paint and pen and pencil and computer, I grab my digital camera and see what kind of magical photo opportunities present themselves!
So thank you for stopping by and seeing what I've dreamed up. May you find something that really catches your eye!
